Jake Davis: #Test Shot: Glenn O’ Brien

Should I have to give this post a blurb, caption or assisting article. This is Glenn O’ fucking Brien…no…no…haha, I just had to add the expletive because Mr. O’ Brien’s face never has any expression far from melancholy and immense reclusiveness. The individual who introduced Jean-Michel Basquiat to Andy Warhol, helps multiple men with their style inquiries every month in GQ magazine and the former host of TV Party, needs no introduction. His history is as strong as his personality, created on authenticity and style. This Test Shot by Davis needs little explanation from me…just enjoy!

Inspiration is found in the ones we know the least of and the ones we love the most. Therefore
least, and most continue their relationship as an equilibrium dedicated to each other to show the connection between different and the same. Society measures talent by the measure of being known, but as we grow that’s an immature way of thinking. little did I know I am designed to change the world, but I will and when I do, that will be a wonderful moment because it is bound to happen only, if I work hard.

“Visual Niche”: Kyle Bailey

So the idea of the visual artist is one most taken for granted. For what we fail to see from the day to day decorum, an artist of the optical aesthetic can highlight within the split of a second. In a world of immediate gratification, desire and ignorance, there is always a sudden disconnect between the physical world and the appreciation of beauty which goes unrecognized consistently. This “new age” deserves an individual or legacy based on creative instinct, innovative design and an understanding of intense analysis. For these qualities, create the history needed to solidify greatness. With this in mind, I present to you Kyle Bailey. « Read the rest of this entry »

The hands. The hands, the two most important figures of action in the history of creation. Two elements of the anatomy that continue to break records, create legacy and mold beauty. So much travels through these two hands, genius, thoughts of change and most of all individuality. You see, for most people the hands are a medium in which an individual can bring his dreams and influence to life, mine have and still continue to do so. I think the blessing here, is that GOD has allowed us to CREATE and CONTINUE by using our hands. Please in honor of beauty and the sublime (thank you Mr. William Blake) examine and analyze all that your hands have done for you thus far, in the past as well as where they can take you. Metaphorically speaking, for the hands are just one of many elements that can assist you in changing the world, I know mine are.
GoodMorning.

In my opinion, interpretative dance is one of the strongest art mediums. Stretch a muscle, feel the bass in the nail bed of your toe, while the 808 channels it’s energy through your thighs. Create a movement based on the mind’s retraction and the heart’s intent. Kiss the melody through the strength of your arched neck. Bang, bang. Throughout the heart, the love, the muscle. Because now, we are all one. Okay turn the song off. -TheBedStuyDandy.
